Irish IC14 representative Padraig Lucey scored a goal for Geelong in their narrow 8 point win over Richmond at Punt Road on Saturday. He also gave away four free kicks so there are definitely a few things for the big man to work on. He also managed 7 hit outs, 3 marks, 6 handballs and 2 tackles.

American Mason Cox went one better and notched two goals for Collingwood as he again played second fiddle to Witts in the ruck but still managed 14 hit outs as the Pies got the four points with a four point victory over Footscray.
Werribee had a two point win over Port Melbourne with Sudanese born Majak Daw kicking three for the Tigers, while Khan Haretuku (Sydney born to Kiwi parents) was named in the best for Port.

Casey Scorpions easily accounted for Essendon at Windy Hill with Irishman Conor McKenna having a quiet day for the Bombers kicking just one behind along with 3 kicks, 3 handballs, 4 marks and 2 tackles.

The Northern Blues had a one goal win over Sandringham. American Jason Holmes was one of Sandringham’s best players amassing 37 hit outs and kicking 1.1. Irish pair Ciaran Sheehan (groin) and Ciaran Byrne (hamstring) did not play with Carlton listing them as having 1-2 and 2 weeks respectively before they are back playing.
