Like Brett, Peter played his footy for Adelaide Uni in the South Australian Amateur League, he has coached high school footy and umpired and played an assortment of social football and superules footy over the years plus one game for the Sussex Swans in the BARFL in 2001 when on a working trip to the UK (where at full forward he managed 1-4).
Peter lives in Adelaide, although has spent time living and working in North Wales from where he and his family made many trips to Ireland, as well as to Cardiff to see Rugby. He developed an interest in Gaelic Games on a trip to Ireland in 1980 and subsequently played and refereed Gaelic football in the South Australian summer Gaelic football competition. His interest in International rules is thus supported by close association with both parent codes. |
