Born in Adelaide to Scottish parents, I lived most of my Aussie life in Alice Springs. Then my parents decided Scotland had a better offerings, so we up'd stumps and moved to freezing cold Scotland in November 1976 - never been back!
I was a rugby player in London, Uk when in 1990, my friend suggested I play Aussie Rules in the summer to keep fit (away from rugby). Started playing for the Earls Court Roos where we missed out in the first ever Granny to Wandsworth. But we were back in 1991 to record the still-biggest ever win in a Grand Final over the Wandsworth Demons.
I've been involved in the BARFL for over 11 years and thoroughly enjoy promoting the great game of Aussie Rules in the UK.
