History:   In 2004 Aussie expats Peter Stone and Derek Ackary organised a kick to kick, which in the following months became small scale games. In 2005 the Philippines hosted the Asian Championships, and the local two team league has stated that they aim to have more and more Filipinos play in future.

Outlook (2010):   After six years the PAFL appears to be struggling to grow beyond two teams, so without a catalyst for change dramatic growth appears unlikely.
