Approx population (2009):   249,000

National side:   none

Governing body:   none

Primary contact / link:   none

WFN Census (2004):   nil

WFN World Ranking (2008):   not ranked

History:   We don't have records of any prior established Aussie Rules presence in this South Pacific territory of France (due to vote on independence by 2020), but in 2008 Laurent Caravel began efforts to start up the game. Caravel was previously involved with footy in France. It is fair to say that the sport is very much in its embryonic stage.

Outlook (2009):   Appears to very much depend on the efforts of Laurent Caravel or if AFL Oceania decide to make a push.
