History:   The Aussie-expat based MARK Tigers (Malaysian Australian Rules Kelab) reportedly operated in the 1980s and 1990s, with the modern version the Malaysian Tigers emerging in 2000. The Tigers have been regularly participants in the Asian Championships. They have conducted various Auskick style junior clinics, including at the Australian International School Malaysia (AISM), and in 2009 had formed an Under 18 side made mostly of local players.

Outlook (2010):   At this stage there does not appear a high likelihood of mass participation in the local community, although if the above mentioned Under 18s have continued on then that will be a positive sign.
