History:   A French Aussie Rules fan started efforts to kick off the Vilnius Iron Wolves in 2009. While the club has not yet taken the field, anyone in Lithuania interested in playing should contact him through the above link. Players from Lithuania filled out numbers at the EU Cup in 2008.

Outlook (2010):   The Vilnius Iron Wolves are hoping to put together a squad for 2010 to compete as a standalone team or combine at tournaments.

Other points of interest:   Adam Ramanauskas is a former Australian rules footballer for the Essendon Football Club (also famous for his battles with cancer) and is of Lithuanian descent
