Internationally Developed AFL Players - Previous

The following is a list of players who learnt Australian Football outside of Australia who went on to play in the Australian Football League, but are no longer in the AFL. This type of player is a true measure of grass roots growth of the game internationally, as opposed to players from other sports who were identified and often brought to Australia to learn the game, e.g. Gaelic footballers and hurlers.

Currently no players to achieve this breakthrough have left the AFL.
