Great! Thanks 'Spike 23' for the info on NDJAFL players who have continued playing footy and even gone on to "star" for Canada.
That is well worth a story on its own about successful grassroots footy in Canada. I would guess that there are very few international leagues who can boast that many 'juniors' graduating into the National Team.

So, I did actually watch NDJAFL graduates play at IC17. WOW!

The NDJFL story has been told many times with the junior club being partly responsible for feeding the senior club. The International Cup angle hasn't been told though..

The biggest part of this story remains unrecognized, that is, football cannot keep up with demand from schools in the area. What does it take to get a little support and leverage a HUGE gain ? .
