Taurama Suns and Uni Tigers also had teams to start the season but struggled for numbers so there are actually 4 less teams now that started the season I think.

I see 5 women's teams listed there, Brett, with Kokafas having the bye this week. The number of teams/players playing is very encouraging as far as depth is concerned but overall stability is questionable when teams fall by the wayside mid season.
Any word on how footy is fairing elsewhere in PNG, Troy? A couple of years ago there were 4 men's and 2 women's teams in Lae. And I have 5 teams named in the Kimbe league in my International Footy Compendium.

As far as I can tell Cam, footy is going very well in PNG. As for the comps outside POM I am not sure. Feel free to chase them up and put up a story. But if you follow our FB page you will see there is a mountain of development work going on throughout PNG (including some very remote areas). I don't personally have time to follow all that through until we have more contributors across the site unfortunately. During the IC hopefully we can also get time to discuss this more fully with Rex Leka and others doing great work over there.
