IC14 Preview : New look Chinese team looking to surprise

If the Chinese players from Beijing and Shanghai weren't Chinese nationals then what were they? Majority of players for both previous Chinese teams have been Chinese nationals with a couple of Southern Dragons ring ins thrown in, notably our good mate J.Pi. Only difference this time is that the Chinese guys are mostly from the AFL Academy in Guangzhou, not Shanghai or Beijing, since the AFL pulled their support from those cities.

Semantics aside, the heart and soul of the team, the legend that is Zhang Hao, remains. I think he will be the only Chinese national to have played all 3 China ICC teams and we are proud to call him a Beijing Bomber!

Yeah I was curious about that line:

Previous incarnations of the Chinese team have seen the bulk of players coming more from the stable of the Beijing Bombers and Shanghai Tigers with a lesser number of Chinese nationals in the squads

Is it meant to imply that the Shanghai and Bombers players included in 2011 were often not Chinese nationals, or was it really meant to read that mosr came from Shanghai and the Bombers and on top of that there were more non-nationals (a few Aussie-Chinese ringins)ω
