Can you tell us about the origin of the group names?

At least two of them are notable figures in French sporting history:

Pierre de Coubertin was the founder of the modern Olympics.

Léo Lagrange was a politician who supported sports development in the first half of the 20th century and has a national sporting movement named after him.

Bérodier and Jackson don't ring any bells for me though.

Léo Lagrange was a sports minister in 1936 to the begining of the 2WW and died during a battle. He created and developed the concept of sports for everyone.

Antonin Bérodier was a young player from Bordeaux Bombers who died during a training on one of these field.

Daniel Jackson is a player of the Richmond Tigers and French AFL ambassador.

Thank you.  A nice touch to the tournament.

I hadn't heard about Bérodier, very sad.
