Harley, while I can't attest to earlier fixtures, GB has won 3 of the last 4 meetings between the team's (2008 IC, 2009 friendly, 2011 IC) with the Danes winning the 2010 Euro Champs match. How does that relate to the Danes consistently beating GB?

Yeah I have to agree there, Denmark may lead Great Britain 8-5 Head to Head but 7 of those 8 Danish wins came in 2003 or before so can't be that relevant any more. Even at 8-5 I wouldn't call that consistent.

OK,That would make Denmark's very strong win even more surprising ?

Hi Guys.

I think the wide margin in the Denmark v Germany International match could be quite squarely attributed to the fact that Denmark has played twice as many internationals over the last 2-3 years than Germany. Also when you look at the representation of players in the Islands v Continent match last year and the Legion and Titans teams, Denmark players outnumber the Germans. Denmark players are much more accustomed to coming together in a representative side than the German guys.

The last quarter scoreline looks like the German fellas ran out of puff. The first quarter they were certainly run ragged by the Vikings but were able to contain them to only three goals in each of the middle quarters. Three goals in the last the score line wouldn't have looked nearly so bad. Say about 100 points instead of 140 to Denmark.

The Vikings are most certainly the power team on mainland Europe even tho' they might have slipped a bit against Great Britain recently. Their current rank and rating points more truly reflect their standard than prior to the match, where their rank had been pushed down by the losses to world power nations like Nauru, South Africa and Ireland at IC11, unlike the Eagles whose last foray into International footy was against debutante France.

The upcoming Eagles v Le Bleus International promises to be interesting with the French having the benefit of playing six internationals to one since their last encounter prior to IC11.

Great to see Croatia helping two new nations, Austria and Italy, make their debuts in International footy (anybody know when and where these matches are going to be played) whilst gaining experience at 16-a-side footy in preparation for the European Championships.

Come ON European Championships!!!!!
