As well as what Ruby has said in this interview, her reach already goes beyond the Tigers and Cutters. Ruby has also influenced girls who play for all teams in the competition, including some of our girls at Pyramid Power. Not only does Ruby support the code, she also supports every girl who wants to give the game a try.

Seeing her at the recent game our club played against PNG, it was clear that Ruby loves her native country also. At the moment our club is working at making greater links with footy in PNG, and guess who is helping to galvanise the PNG girls...?

Hi Wesley, Ruby mentioned she would be interested in playing for the PNG Flames at next year's IC. Would you be able to put her in contact with anyone? I only have emails for their old website.

If you have her contact details then email them to me and we can on forward to AFL Asia Pacific manager Andrew Cadzow, who knows PNG footy inside out, and he should be able to ensure she is considered if eligible.
