Does anyone know how many players on the field the DAFL had previously?

I believe the Premier League played 16-a-side from 2005 although 2012 is questionable since the Copenhagen Crocodiles dropped out of the Premier league in 2012 because of a lack of numbers and only played in the Sjaelland 9's competition. Not known if other clubs were struggling to get numbers as well, although the proposed expansion into 8 clubs would suggest otherwise.

A bit sad to see the passing of the Shinboners, although good to see the Dockers and Kangaroos are to play in the Premier League as 'seperate' entities.

Although 6 x 16 = 8 x 12 at least with 8 teams it opens up the option of  increasing players-a-side over the next few years if the clubs can recruit new players.
