The development of the game in India has excited me more than most other more developed Australian Rules nations. A mere 1% doesn't sound like much, but would be enough to change the face of the game in India forever.

But the ex-pat factor, which often starts the ball rolling in other countries, needs to be replaced over time by the youth catchments in schools. It is no coincidence that many of the figures involved in India, and indeed across the world, are also teachers trying to take the game further. It makes sense. Teachers are working with that "catchment" on a daily basis and the commited ones can change views and increase involvement over time.

All power to the people working so hard to capture whatever Indian market they can. And to teachers...(and i'm one)...let's keep flying those flags and fanning those flames.
