Has anybody heard of any recent developments in Germany outside of their 6 team league? My trusty source (wikipedia) tells me that there are another 5 cities with teams in formation with the intention of joining the AFLG, but outside of this snippet I haven't heard anything else.

Sounds like a job for Aaron or Kate to find out for us.  And Malte could drop us a comment if he still reads regularly.

There's a bit going on outside the national league - a new club in Leverkusen for starters, but also local "metro" comps in Berlin, Munich and a new one in and around Stuttgart.

Also just heard news of a new club in Dresden, who might be playing in the Czech league for 2013.  Keep your eyes on the site!

Dresden Wolves played in AFLG 9's competition in June last year!

Dresden playing in Czech Republic league makes sense, distance and time wise, only 150kms. or 1hr 47mins. to Prague, where as Dresden to Berlin 192 Kms and 1hr 57mins. Also AFLG play 14-a-side (I believe) and Czech's play 10-a-side (easier for new club/team to field a side each week)

Best of luck to Dresden where ever they play!
