I think most here believe the Nationals will be there in 2009. Actually the whole thing will be ready next year so perhaps they (the usafl) are kicking themselves they have already announced the 2008 Nationals to be in Colorado.

How does October sit with the US cricket season? The AFL wanted a match in South Africa early in 2008 but the preferred venue, AFLSA's home at Sedgars Park, was booked for cricket.

I don't think that is going to be a problem. There is no US cricket season to
speak of. I think the AFL could have the stadium any time they liked.

I gather cricket there also has several different governing bodies and leagues and it's all been a bit of a mess over the years.
