Internationals in Round 6 VFL action

Round 6 of the VFL saw a number of Internationals taking to the park, we take a look at their performances.
Padraig Lucey (Ire) had 12 hitouts, 2 kicks, 4 handballs, 1 mark and 1 tackle for Geelong as they went down narrowly to Port Melbourne.
 
At Cramer St the Northern Blues could not hold off a strong second half performance by the Bombers to go down by 8 points. Alexander Aurrechio (USA)(Al to his mates) made his senior VFL debut for the Blues and looked right at home changing into the ruck off the bench. He finished with 12 hit-outs, 6 tackles and 3 handballs. Conor McKenna (Ire) was again quiet for the Bombers kicking 0.2
Kurt Heatherley (NZ) continued his good form at full back for Box Hill in their 23 point win over Sandringham. Jason Holmes (USA) again racked up the hit-outs for the Zebras finishing with 35 in an impressive ruck display.
 
Mason Cox (USA) had a well earned rest after a long preseason with Collingwood and rounds of VFL footy in a code that he is playing for the first time.   
 
Development League
 
Eric Wallace (USA) continued his battle to make it back to VFL seniors in the ruck for Werribee as the Tigers defeated the Dolphins by 8 points.
 
Joe Baker-Thomas (NZ) was set to go head to head with fellow Kiwi Shem Tatupu (NZ), but big Shem was out of the Box Hill side that went on to defeat Sandringham by 59 points. Tatupu is named to return to Box Hill on the ball this week.
