Looks like North Melbourne's American recruit Eric "The Beast" Wallace is making progress in his first season of Aussie Rules, if this footage from the VFL is anything to judge by:

Same with Jason Holmes at St Kilda. Has been named numerous times in the best players for Sandy.

Actually Wallace is in his second year of footy - but last year was playing in the North Ballarat ressies (the VFL Development League) while this year he's in the seniors. I think he's now 25 games in.
