Fiji Joins World Rankings 'Club'

Fiji has become the 20th Nation to be Fully Ranked in WFN World Rankings following Game Two in the 3-Test series against Nauru.

Fiji have slipped into 11th place below Samoa with 41.00 Rating Points following the 40 point loss to Nauru in Game Two. The 11.9 (75) - 5.5 (35) score line brought about a Rating Exchange of 1.49 Points, this has pushed up Nauru's Points rating to 50.35 and a rise up the ranks to 5th Place displacing South Africa to 6th Place.

Predictions For Game Three.

If the Chiefs can hold the Tribe to another plus 40 point win in Game 3 the Points Exchange will be 0.82 Rating Points Nauru finishing the series with a rating of 51.17 Points in 5th Place, and Fiji will have 40.18 Rating Points and ranked 11th.

However, if Fiji can continue their improvement and get the margin below 40 points, the Rate Exchange would only be 0.55 Rating Points, Fiji ending the series with 40.45 rating Points and Nauru finishing with 50.90 Rating points.

Now if Fiji can manage to claw out a win over the Chiefs the Rate Exchange would be 2.45 in Fiji's favour and Fiji would climb above Samoa into 10th Place with 43.45 Rating Points and Nauru would fall back to 6th Place with 47.90 Rating Points. Put a cat amongst the pigeons with that result I think.

Whatever the result of Game Three, Fiji should be congratulated for hosting the series and on its relative rapid rise into membership of the Fully Ranked Nations 'club'.

Well done Fiji.
