PNG Under 16 Binatangs find QLD championships a tall task

 As a continuation of the AFL PNG affiliation with AFL Queensland, the Under 16 Binatangs squad has just returned home after competing in the 2012 Queensland State Championships.  This years championships were held at the AFL QLD HQ at Leyshon Park, Yeronga, as well as O’Callaghan Park at Zillmere.

The PNG squad was one of 8 teams participating.

Quite obviously, the squad was not blessed with a great deal of size and generally came up against sides with much taller players in the ruck and key positions in particular.
