One of the highlights for the attendees at IC11 was the group songs of the Tongan team, often heard from their changerooms before and after their matches, here is a closer look (and listen).

I gotta say it blew me away, it felt like an absolute privilege to be in there.  Ed McCowan was great setting up opportunities to be in there and to chat to Peni and Malakai Mahina.

What was most interesting, being no stranger to footy changerooms in suburban Melbourne (and country footy too) - was the amount of time that passed, via song and prayer, before coach Jim Lucy addressed the players.

This is also a little insight into the expanding cultural world of Australian Football.  The different sights and sounds, and anyone who listened into the Spanish sides quarter time huddle back in 2005 would've heard a clear example of sounds very unfamiliar to the footy follower.
