Think we are all keen to hear how Tonga beat PNG (who clearly kicked badly).  Folau inspired?

I hate to say this but PNG just seem to keep finding a way to lose.  They are clearly the best all round footy nation outside of Australia, with the possible exception of Ireland, yet from 4 International Cups they have won 1 and finished second 3 times (a great record but a poor return for making grand finals) and despite being the leaders in junior development from 3 Youth Oceania Cups they unfortunately missed the inaugural tournament, won the 2nd, and now somehow have missed the final in the 3rd, after dominating all their lightning matches... some bad kicking in their final game and they're out.

It's definitely not all about winning, but it still must be very disappointing for the players and staff.

thats the beauty of our game Brett, you can dominate a game but if you can't kick straight(like geelong 08 granny) you lose..would have been good to see a PNG V NZ GF

Hmmm, I'm not sure flyinghigh that I agree that bad kicking resulting in a "better" side losing is part of the beauty of the game, not for me anyway.  But yes Hawthorn fans would surely disagree.

By the look of the rain all the matches would've been a bit of a lottery unless one side was 10 times better than the other.
