AFL South Africa seeks new Executive Officer

Africa
In recognition of greater involvement with the Australian Football League, Footy South Africa has been renamed AFL South Africa. It has also changed its website address. The term of current Executive Officer, Steven Harrison, also expires soon, and a replacement is sought as he wishes to return to Australia.

The re-badging of leagues has been a common trend in world football in recent years, with AFL Canada being the next most recent convert. The African league has a proposal for increased funding before the AFL and is anxiously awaiting a decision. Details of the Executive Officer position can be found at the new website, AFL South Africa.
