Arguably New Zealand's strongest league, the new Auckland AFL season is about to get underway.

The new season for the Auckland AFL in New Zealand is set to get underway on August 29th. The season runs through the country's winter, to clash less with Rugby Union (a Kiwi way of life) and the wetter months. The University Blues will be looking to make it three in a row in this strong six club league. There's an indepth story here.
